Das neue Rocky Mountain Altitude ist gebaut für Enduro-Rennen, anspruchsvolle Singletrails und unendliche Runden im Bikepark. Das komplett neue Design macht das Altitude schneller als je zuvor. Die brandneue Geometrie vermittelt dir auch dann Sicherheit, wenn es auf dem Trail ruppig wird. Es ist Zeit an deine Grenzen zu gehen. Fahr schneller. Und härter. Enduro lives at Altitude. Überdimensionierte Lager, kürzere Umlenkhebel und ein hinteres Rahmendreick aus einem Stück erhöhen die Steifigkeit und unterstützen den Rider bei schnellem Tempo.
Jede Rahmengröße wird mit besonderen Dämpfereinstellungen versehen. Rocky Mountain verwenden drei verschiedene hintere Rahmendreiecke, um die Hinterbaulänge optimal an die jeweilige Rahmengröße anzupassen. Bikes mit Rahmengröße Small können so perfekt für leichtere Fahrer optimiert werden.
Das LC2R™ (Low Centre Counter Rotating) Federungsdesign wurde erstmals auf dem Slayer 2006 vorgestellt und war dann auf späteren Slayer Modellen zu finden. 2008 wurde das Design an das beliebte Flatline Downhill-Bike angepasst und anschliessend auf die Flatline Weltcup-Modelle übertragen. Jetzt ist LC2R™ zurück – raffinierter als je zuvor. Das LC2R™ Design bietet Fahreigenschaften, welche die kinematischen Variablen ausgleichen, um das legendäre Rocky Mountain Fahrgefühl zu vermitteln. Die fein abgestimmte Kombination aus Anti-Squat und einer reaktiven und unterstützenden Federungskurve sorgt für maximale Traktion, Komfort und Performance.
