Aufgrund seines fortschrittlichen XC-Fahrwerks, der überarbeiteten Geometrie und der trailtauglichen Ausstattung, setzt das neue Cannondale Scalpel erneut Maßstäbe in Sachen XC-Speed. Ob Rennpodium oder Wochenendausfahrt – das Carbon Mountainbike Cannondale SCALPEL 4 29″ kann beides.
Es basiert auf den Series 1 Carbon Rahmen. Hinzu kommt die Shimano Deore XT 12-Gang-Schaltung, vom Lenker blockierbare RockShox SID-Fahrwerkskomponenten und Stan’s NoTubes Crest S2 Felgen, für zuverlässige Geschwindigkeit und Kontrolle.
Magisches Fahrwerk
Nicht einfach nur mehr Federweg, sondern ein besserer Federweg. Dank der Magie der FlexPivot-Kinematik und des Proportional Response-Fahrwerks begeistern die 120 mm Federweg des Scalpel durch ungeahnte Traktion, mehr Kontrolle und jede Menge Fahrspaß – gepaart mit der Effizienz und Dynamik, die man von einem Worldcup-Racebike erwartet.
Teuflisch schnell
Die Geometrie ist der Schlüssel zu maximalem Speed, und das Scalpel ist nicht nur messerscharf, sondern auch extrem schnell. Es zeichnet sich durch einen flachen Lenkwinkel von 66,6°, einen 75,5° steilen Sitzwinkel sowie größenspezifische Kettenstreben aus, die bei größeren Rahmen länger werden, damit Biker jeder Körpergröße in eine zentrale Position zwischen den Laufrädern finden. Das Ergebnis? Mehr Vortrieb und Traktion in Uphills, bessere Kontrolle in den Kurven und ein noch nie dagewesenes Vertrauen bei hohen Geschwindigkeiten.
Der Zauber der Geschwindigkeit
Das ist keine Magie. Sondern das Ergebnis einer reinrassigen, zielgerichteten Konstruktionsphilosophie.
