Off-Road-Enthusiasten haben seit Jahrzehnten Dropbars an Trail-Bikes montiert, also haben Surly das Grappler entwickelt, um diese Sehnsucht mit ein wenig mehr Präzision zu stillen. Das Surly GRAPPLER 27.5″ Mountainbike wurde in erster Linie für eine stabile und bequeme Lenkerposition entwickelt und bietet mit seiner trailtauglichen Geometrie ein temperamentvolles Fahrverhalten auf gemischtem Terrain.
Das Grappler ist für grobstollige Reifen ausgelegt und mit einer Reihe von Halterungen für den Transport von Tagesproviant und Übernachtungsausrüstung ausgestattet. Es gibt nichts, wovor man sich fürchten müsste. Wahrscheinlich.
